I have undertaken a new mission in my motorcycle riding life, I have joined a unique group of riders known as the "Patriot Guard Riders". This group numbers 200,000 nationwide and as but one mission, to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission they undertake has two basic objectives:
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protester or group of protestors.
We also participate in the celebration of our American heroes that return home to their families and to let each of them know now much they are appriciated.
